It has sooo much potential

But its differences to time crisis put it as just another mediocre shooter, u dont want that do you? If you're going to emulate this game like time crisis theres a few things that need changing

1. people must hold the spacebar, a person should have to hold the spacebar down in order to shoot, that way there always aware of when they may be shot

2. the red circle warning. when an opponent is about to hit you with a shot it should create a red circle around the enemy gun to specify if ure gonna get hit. otherwise its hard to dodge some bullets, in addition to this there should be a wider range of opponents such as the red guy (who always hits you on the first shot) to the machine gunner guy (who sprays with a 20% accuracy rate)

3. moveable areas. I couldnt tell if these were in the game, but the player should move to other areas and be timed to make the game a bit more challenging.

I wouldnt be saying this if this game didnt have so much potential. Otherwise I would of gave up on it being a hit.

ALSO please makes the opponents be animated, the enemies looked like jokes when they came out.

This is actually fairly nice.

One of the better tutorials out there thats for sure. And on a lesser known subject, not another "Make a mass tween fest" flash tutorial. Where did u learn this stuff anyways?

Hoeloe responds:

picked it up over a span of about 9 months and i used my own knowledge for the random battles

Good to listen to my favorite character.

And who else, the ghost. I've decided to review this movie on a soundboard sense, and not technically a flash sense so ill omit the animation and violence categories.

It was visually appealing, very starcraftish, so I can see nothing wrong with it. All the sounds were nice and clean so nice job there too. But it coulda used a few pinches of originality, even for soundboards there could be something a lil new, like maybe a short movie sequence from one of the cinematics.. But whatever man. Good work

I think youve lost it CUBICLE

Not that im totally surprised but, I suppose only you can create a game so simple that most people overlook thinking about it, or have thought about it but were to afraid to try. Of course now that ive played it for an extended period of time I can see it... no wait... damnit, I cant stop clicking! I'm sending you my medical bills when I come down with a case of carpal tunnel...

I personally have no idea how to rate this submission so im giving you randoms.

Good way to waste a little time

Its a type of game that many have tried to make, putting a new spin on the maze games. It was fun to play, but it was nothing too impressive. The collision detection was excellent, the graphics were too simple, and the music got old fast. Also the game was too short, and wasnt all that challenging. The games good, but has alot of weak points and I dont think it deserves the praise it has gotten.

This wasnt needed

The only problems with the original version were ball speed and collision detection. A death animation or at least a sound so the game doesnt automatically restart and you lose the ball again by accident because you were holding forward... This 'noob' version is just a watered down version of the original with no real changes.

I see no difference.

Still bare bones animation and fair amount of choices. Im surprised in the score hike.

MessiaH responds:

Me too, I can't believe it. Maybe it's because of my other scores being so high (which I still don't get) or the fact that some of my other stuff is on collection pages. I'm not complaining in any case!

Above average

First off, I love the look, its a very good looking game. However the beauty does have a price. Some of the enemy attacks are hard to see because of all the cludder on the scene, leading to would be avoided hits. Slower computers during intense action scenes will also lose track of the action and lose health. Im just glad this game isnt one hit kill like Gradius. Besides that its a good game.

Good way to improve your typing speed

But on the DDR/Stepmania sense, its not the same as the game itself. The music is more of a mood setter and has nothing to do with the keyboard at all, this is what seperates this from other ones.
Not a good DDR type clone, but still well done.

TalosAT responds:

Yeah I realize that... im trying to figure out how to set the letters to the beat.... Only way I could think of is to make an animation for the blocks to move at a set path..... but im no good at timing beats and such... so I dont think i could do that =/

Improved significantly

There we go, thats an excellent tutorial on how to make dwis etc. Wah but why didnt you use other DDR songs for the music selection?????????? It doesnt matter excellent tutorial.

FlameConker7 responds:

Thanks. I could find no songs available to use for calm songs--since most of the songs on DDR are hyper or heavy types of music.

Life is full of shut the hell ups.
